Prevent Child Abuse O‘ahu
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Those of us here at Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii would like to take a minute to share some information about our annual Teddy Bear Drive for 2020. Because of the current concerns of the Coronavirus and how the virus is spread from person to person the individuals who are on the Event Team have decided to cancel the event for this year. The Team has reviewed the concerns of how the virus spreads and with the current discussion on how the virus could reappear in the fall the decision was made to focus on the event for 2021.

CANCELLED DUE TO
CORONAVIRUS
This event has been a major event for Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii for over 20 years. Now that we cannot work with our supporters, we are concerned about how we can continue helping families throughout the state. We understand that we all are finding it difficult to support the needs of our families during these times of unknown futures. So, it’s from this concern that we would like to ask your support by going to our website: www.preventchildabusehawaii.org and make a $1.00 minimum donation. If each of our supporters make a minimum donation, I know that it would add up to an amount that would support us through the rest of 2020. Your support will help children at risk throughout the state.
Please keep you and your family safe during these unknown times and just remember that Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii is always there for you and your family. Keep Your Family Safe!

Pinwheels for Prevention is a National Campaign during the month of April. As a reminder of the uplifting and great childhood that all children deserve. The Girl Scouts of Hawaii have taken on the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign on every island throughout Hawaii.
